Re: How to overcome "cmake .." issue in "build" dir of ARGoS-module.?

I saw your posts on the ARGoS GitHub. That is not the right place to ask for help - it's meant to report issues, such as bugs or feature requests. What I meant with my previous message is: leave an issue on the repository of the people who made the code stored in AB-interface/ARGoS-module. If the co...

Re: How to overcome "cmake .." issue in "build" dir of ARGoS-module.?

I think the ARGoS module is not up-to-date with respect to the latest version of ARGoS. I suggest to leave an issue on their github repository.

Re: Multiple seeds

The CSimulator::Reset() function that accepted the random seed should work correctly. I would not use it with the code you propose though, because rand() is not a good random number generator anyway, and there's no reason to randomize the seeds if what you want is repeatability. You can simply use r...

Re: Multiple seeds

The simplest way to have ARGoS pick a different random at each Reset() is to set the random seed to 0 in the .argos file.

Re: is it possible to SetExperimentFileName multiple times

You can't use SetExperimentFileName multiple times. You have two options: either you create multiple files and load them in a sequence - not in the main.cpp, but using a Bash script; or you write your obstacle placement logic in the loop functions (see the "custom distributions" example).

Re: Controller is different after reset

I don't understand what you're trying to accomplish. If what you want is resetting after the end of each experiment, make a main.cpp of your own that simply has a while loop as follows: cSimulator.LoadExperiment(); // load XML file *once* while(not done) { // your logic defines what "done" means cSi...

Re: Controller is different after reset

Can you share your code? I do not understand why those four lines are inside PostExperiment. That's not supposed to be the place where those fours lines go. Have you checked this example?

Re: Controller is different after reset

Where is this code written? Are you referring to CSimulator::PostExperiment()? What are you trying to accomplish?

Re: Multiple seeds

The controller is reset, see the code here. Also, because this is a different question, please create a new topic.

Re: Multiple seeds

You configure this in the .argos file. See the commented file here.

ARGoS is different from other simulators. No individual robot controls the simulator.
