Is it possible to place objects blow an arena?

I am a new ARGoS user, and I love the potential this system has. My university robotics group is wanting to use this simulator to simulate large scale large scale mapping of subsurface resources. The problem I am encountering is that I cannot seem to place any boxes that doesn't lie on the exact same z plane that the arena does. Is there a built in solution?

You can use the 3D dynamics engine, I think – I didn't implement it myself, but I'll ask the person who did.
